Year 6 Army Flying Museum Trip 24.2.23

Exploring how planes were used during World War One

On Friday the 24th February, Year 6 went to the Army Flying Museum.  They found out about the types of planes used during World War One, got to handle some artefacts and even had a go at making their very own bi-planes. The children asked relevant questions and listened well to all the information that was shared with them.  They were able to visit the war memorial and spent time thinking about those who fought for our country. This was certainly a fantastic beginning to our topic about how the local area was used during World War One. .
